Newall - On the 21st inst. at Sandycroft, Swanlow Lane, Winsford, Edward Newall aged 78 years. Interment at Over parish Church, Saturday the 23rd at 2.30 p.m. - Will friends kindly accept this as the only infirmation.
On a Headstone at St. Chad's Church, Winsford In Loving Memory of Edward, beloved husband of Martha Newall of Sandycroft, Swanlow, who died August 21st 1924, aged 78 years. Whom I have loved long since and lost a while. Also the above named Martha Newall who died December 2nd 1932 aged 83 years.

Northwich Guardian Sat 11 FEB 1882 p4 c9 "Launch at Winsford." (Pheonix) The vessel which was supposed to have been set on fire at the works of the executrix of the late George Deakin(Limited), Knights Grange Dockyard, Winsford has been launched during the last week. This fine steamer which suffered so severely at the fire alluded to was launched under the superintendance of Mr Edward Newall, the foreman. Northwich Guardian 14 JAN 1888 p4 c7 "A Monster River Steamer for Winsford" Messrs. George Deakin, Limited of Winsford, have commenced building at their dockyard at the Knights Grange Works, a new steamer which when completed, bids fair to revolutionise the style of craft on the river Weaver. The keel of the vessel is already laid from plans prepared by the foreman Mr E.Newall, and under whose care the work is intrusted.
